Moritz Braun (b. 1988. Magdeburg, Germany) graduated with a degree in Marine Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 2014 and since then works as a researcher at Hamburg University of Technology. He is a self taught fine art photographer who translates his interests for structures, details and nature into detailed observations of landscapes and urban settlements.
Precise and elegant, Moritz Braun's black and white images master the subtle tones, shades and contrasts of both urban and natural landscapes. His images capture in superb detail the world in front of his lens, the texture of his monochromes suggesting the very nature of colour itself.
